Gwen Stefani Divorce Close to Being Finalized

No one who has been divorced has the same experience. People are different, which means that their relationship is different. One couple may have had a difficult divorce, but that doesn’t mean everyone’s divorce will be difficult. However, there are certain circumstances, such as a couple with high assets, that can sometimes make things difficult. Celebrities are often among those who go through high asset divorces.

Singer Gwen Stefani and ex-husband Gavin Rossdale have recently taken another step toward finalizing their divorce. It was reported that Stefani is to be awarded a significant amount of property and assets even though Rossdale is entitled to 50 percent of everything the couple acquired during their marriage, which lasted 13 years. Although it was not revealed why, this decision was one Rossdale made despite it meaning he will be left with a small percentage of the couple’s property, assets and Stefani’s sales from records and concerts.

When two people are married for many years, it is common for them to have a large number of assets. States do have laws that outline how assets should be divided in the event of a divorce, but if spouses can agree on the issue of property division and other divorce legal matters, and a judge approves the divorce decree, they may not need to adhere to these laws.

High asset divorces are already difficult for some, but when couples have the added stress of property division, they may not know what to do. However, they must figure out what to do, or they may lose everything to their spouse. No matter how a person feels about the divorce, they have property and assets that are at risk of being divided during a divorce, so they should consider contacting an attorney, as they are knowledgeable and may be able to help people walk away with everything they deserve once the divorce is finalized.
